Climate Change

June 11, 2023

Climate change is real and supported by overwhelming scientific evidence. Climate change refers to long-term changes in the Earth’s climate, including rising global temperatures, melting glaciers and ice caps, rising sea levels, and more frequent and severe weather events such as hurricanes, droughts, and floods. The primary cause of climate change is the increase in greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, in the atmosphere due to human activities, particularly the burning of fossil fuels for energy. The consequences of climate change are far-reaching and pose significant threats to human health, biodiversity, and the global economy.
