I suspect that Trump’s tariff decision has little to do with unfair trade practices from other countries. I believe the decision is more related to investments and stocks. When Trump announced the tariffs, stock prices dropped significantly. I think this was his intention—to see the stock market crash.

Then, when tariffs are lifted, he and wealthy individuals could buy stocks at the lowest prices, ultimately increasing their wealth. Meanwhile, many retirees and soon-to-be retirees would experience investment losses that could range from bad to worst.

However, wealthy individuals and Trump could be mistaken, especially after trillions upon trillions of dollars are wiped out when they realize that many companies are struggling to sell their products to people who have lost their jobs. Many of these companies could go bankrupt.

The Trump administration could collapse, leading to chaos taking over the USA. The country might break up into several nations, which would change our world both politically and economically.
