I commend Liz Cheney – for not being like Trump – for conceding her GOP primary defeat. I don’t agree with her conservative politics. However, she and I (as a progressive Canadian) share the same value to defend democracy and justice against tyranny and injustice. The Republican Party betrays President Abe Lincoln. Her fight against Trump and his lies is far from over.
