Developing countries have turned to semi-authoritarianism or authoritarianism while developed countries are remaining democracy or becoming semi-democracy. Right-wing and left-wing parties tend to move to semi-democracy, semi-authoritarianism, and authoritarianism. Centre-right, centre, and centre-left parties tend to stay in democracy.

I have many concerns about the GOP and Conservative Party of Canada. There are serious issues with corruption and dysfunction within these political parties. It’s disheartening to see a focus on money and power thru propaganda rather than preserving and promoting democracy.
