Yesterday, about an hour before the first contact between the moon and the sun, I went out for a one-hour walk. It was a beautiful and sunny day, and I enjoyed walking along the concrete path in the forest. I encountered some friendly people who greeted me, while others chose to ignore my greetings.
As I continued my walk, I observed a tree that had been torn apart. It stood with only a few short branches and buds waving in the breeze. This tree caught my attention, and I couldn’t help but wonder if it could sense my presence. I believe that all living species have feelings or vibrational energy. I hope that the tree liked me, although it made me feel sad to see its deteriorated appearance. I am aware that it will not be long before the tree completely disappears, perhaps within the next five years. After hundreds of years of life, it will eventually return to the earth’s soil, leaving only memories behind.
I took a picture of the tree, wondering if it had ever been captured in a photograph before.
The tree’s appearance was incredibly sad and tragic. It suffered from the loss of branches and a rotten trunk. It seemed as though someone had forcefully torn away one side of its trunk and stripped off many of its branches.
In my imagination, I envisioned an old soul residing within the hollow trunk, exposed to the open air and observing people and animals passing by or near the tree. Birds flew above it, but the soul’s attempts to greet them were met with indifference. The tree was nearing the end of its life and longed for something wonderful before its inevitable disappearance. That’s when I encountered the soul. It was surprised that I could see it, but it greeted me with a smile and said, “Hello, it’s nice to meet you. I’ve been waiting for someone to acknowledge me. And now, here we are. Thank you so much.” And just like that, it was gone.
The end.
