Oralism and Audism are Not Normal!

We must stop practices of oralism and audism because they are not normal and inhumanity.

I agree with you 100% but the fact is that the policies, laws, bills related to the Deaf issues focus mainly on “Does it generates money for the society/business” such as AGBell/Associates and the auditory-only industries.

United States Government concerns more about having business making money over morality.

American Sign Language doesn’t create financial burdens on parents but the lawmakers in Congress choose to be “DEAF” and disregard about the language and education needs for Deaf babies and children.

It’s really a sad fact,

Hi John,

I agree with you all the way. I am very concerned about attitudes, beliefs and practices of audism that have harmed so many Deaf people UNNECESSARILY! I still struggle to understand why they have done to us for centuries. They make money at our expenses. That is very sick and inhumanity. They have to be stopped!

My apology for not explaining enough about what is “normal”.

The practice of oralism is not normal to Deaf people because of their natural visually language acquirement and expression.

The practice of Audism has oppressed Deaf people for many centuries. The mission of audism is to destory sign language and Deaf culture. Audists know what they have done to Deaf people is wrong; therefore, their(audists’)conscience is not normal.

There are several different definitions of normal. I pick two of them that I explained about above.
