Militancy: Re-Clarification

My last militancy vlog had caused some people confused. I decided to remove it from my website. I want to provide more clear explanation in this vlog with a few corrections. My view on this has not been changed at all.
Your inputs are always welcome except negative attacks. Constructive discussions (agree or disagree) will be published.

Hello! It’s so good to see you again. I like the way you expressed on your blog and the important message is added below your vlog about unreasonable negative attacks…It’s a good way to let them know that it’s not acceptable and constructive discussions are (agree or disagree on the same issue) welcomed.
Way to go and keep vlogging

I don’t remember you being an Advocate at Gally. I don’t recall that you were active at Gally. I am really surprised that you have become a positive advocate for the deaf causes. You are doing a great job!

Hi Deb Ann and Ziggy,
Thank you for your positive responses. Yes it is best to accept constructive responses (either agree or disagree). Destructive responses will never been accepted as it is not only hurting me but also to many others. That is why I feel it is best to do in appropriate and professional responses.
Ziggy, I graduated at Gally and had been involved in SGB but I was never involved in DPN or recently protest at Gally. I arrived Gally in early 1989 and I planned to run for the position of President of SGB but due to my political science goals that were not provided in the states and I was forced to move to McMaster University to study Canadian Politics courses that were not offered in the states. So I cancelled my plan to run for the SBG President. Other than that, I have been involved in Deaf politics for years especially in Ontario, Canada.

Deafchip,
The previous vlog presentation on the issue of Deaf Militancy few months ago, I never had a chance of making response(s) so far. I didn’t see any problems with your vlog presentation about the Deaf Militancy what you expressed your thoughts at that time.
You made several good points how we ought to make the right approach to the deaf issues which greatly affected the deaf youngsters.
That’s why I done the research paper on the issue of “Deaf Militancy” back in 1992. I also expressed such concerns about some deaf individuals and groups went too far with tactics and belief impostitons, etc. After done with the research, my perspectives about the Deaf Militancy dramatically changed over time.
Pros and cons of appeasements and bold statements and questionable tactics have to be widely explored. No questions about the powerful contents of positive reinforcements than getting miltaristic.
We really have to play “smart” and “resourceful” and “tactful” to get our messages out to the parents of deaf youngsters, instead of scaring them out of their pants and dresses. You know what I meant.
“Zionism” would be seen as some kind of militancy among the opponents of the Irsaeli state or existence of Jewish people.
The Jews of the World War II had to resort to the ways of “Zionism” to fight back against the Nazi aggressors to survive or will get wiped off if they get politically apathetic.
Klu ######### (KKK) and other white supermacists already are the desginated “terrorist” group in the United States anyway to call for the self-preservation of their mighty race.
Back to the post-Civil War period, the white Southerners somewhat had good reasons to form the organization (Night Riders) of terrorizing the former African American slaves within the widespread government corruptions and voter disfranchisements out of their personal frustrations.
All the government levels and businesses made a big mistake for not reconciling the whole population on the importance of racial intergration without undermining the white people’s economic and political progress to make them feel less threatened by the societal change.
No questions about the handful of white Southerners sticked to their gun with racial beliefs about the former slaves being the inferior race.
Alexander Graham Bell Association of the Deaf (AGBEll) organization would be not seen as a “militant” organization, but more sinister and slick and sleath existence to deceive the parents of deaf youngsters in name of human enchancement progress and freedom from the cultural and social #######.
AGBELL will collapse within few years anyway thanks to the increasingly militant tactics among the deaf communuity – “Enough is enough!”.
Many deaf people see the Deaf Bilingual Coaltion (DBC) as a misdirection or “militant” organization. It is really a moderate and pragmatic organization of the deaf.
If not for the formation of DBC, we would never see the true color of AGBell during the Pepsi commerical controvesty.
That’s what we are trying to tell the whole world what the AGBell is up to.

The Net Nanny software program at the Business Center keep censoring some words like
K l u K l u x K l a n after the KKK
b o n d a g e after the cultural and social ……….
I have to outsmart the Net Nanny program like spacing out words. *sigh*

Hi, Chip,
I wrote you a comment, but I think I did not submit it…
Anyway, it is never easy for anyone to establish an organization, like John E. for his DBC. That is why I give him credit for the establishment of DBC. Now, we need to focus on what we can do for the mission of DBC.
BTW, I wrote a message about militant descprition last fall. It can be either good or bad. I understand you clearly especially after my little “research,” lol!!

Hi Robert (RLM)
I like your discussion about the term of militancy and its purposes. Your view is very much the same as my view. Thanks for expanding information about militancy and non militancy approaches. The term of militancy is never understood clearly by everyone due to their backgrounds that may or may not be the same as ours. Yes we do view AGBell as a militant under sheep wool. Once again, thanks for sharing info with us all.
Hi Kathy (deafk)
Yes I definitely agree with you about John Egbert who is willing to stand up and get many new allies to join him to promote Bilingual approach for all Deaf and hard of hearing children. I know there are many heros are working with him.
Yeah the term of militancy I have learnt my bloody lesson hence this vlog.
Hi John,
Good to have your response. Thanks and I of ocurse look forward to reading your blogs and watching vlogs. I am glad that people get clear information from me.

I agree with you, DE. I am glad that you brought up your topic.. You have a right of reasonable access to discuss about construction agree and disagree in peace. We should take our responsibility for our own responsible behavior.
“Agree to disagree or “agreeing to disagree” is a phrase in English referring to the resolution of a conflict (usually a debate or quarrel) whereby all parties tolerate but do not accept the opposing position(s). It generally occurs when all sides recognize that further conflict is unnecessary, ineffective or otherwise undesirable.â€

Hi ChrisH
I am not sure if you refer to DE or Deafchip. But I agree that it is best for us to dialogue constructively. We all know that there is NOT one person every person agree 100 percent I mean every subject, issue, emotion, belief, etc, etc. We agree to disagree and can find a way or so be it as long as respect is still there.

Hi Cheryl,
Thank you! Yep, we need to work together despite of our difference. Our common goal is to build a better Deaf life that included empowerment of Deaf children (BiBi approach) without any limited opportunty!
