Deaf Chipmunk

Since last summer, we had been divided badly and hurt over different illusions that almost destroyed our friendship and allies. We, the Deaf people are now back on the track and reconciling ourselves. That is our great moment as part of a process. We need to continue to discuss and share ideas, even if we agree to disagree in a healthy environment. I have seen more and more people are coming back. WE do have HOPE!

Reverse Audim

Based on Reverse Audism discussion, I am aware that it is just a discussion. However, due to many people who are learning new term of audism, I avoid adding another term such as reverse audism. I feel the discussion will lead us to nowhere. We need to focus on one term, the audism. We need to promote “Audism” awareness.

The term of Audism Free America is appropriate and logical. I checked with another term such as discrimination, and I found there are several terms such as Discrimination Free Zone, Discrimination Free Workplace and so on. There is nothing wrong with it.

I will reject negative and irrelevant comments. I only accept constructive and positive comments.

AFA: Great MOMENT!!!

It is important for us to keep up with our good work against audism. A.G. Bell has failed to show its cooperation with AFA based on its agreement between AFA and A.G. Bell. AFA already informed AGBell that protest would continue. A.G. Bell had failed to inform AFA that it would make its announcement to denounce AFA. It has shown that A.G. Bell does still practice its old game against Deaf community. It is time for us to take Teflon coat from A.G. Bell that has used for more than 129 years. It is very unfortunate that anti AFA people have failed to recognize a huge problem of audism everywhere. Anti AFA people (who intend to destroy AFA at any cost – that does not apply to people who have some disagreements with AFA but have some agreement with AFA – I bless them for reasonable feedbacks), have failed to see the whole pictures. They only see D2 while we see D3. We will fight for them, the anti AFA people as well as Deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people.

We welcome anyone including anti AFA people to join us to fight against audism. We believe in justice for all of us.

The Canadian Hearing Society (CHS) in Ontario has approved a new policy of Anti Audism Policy. It has been enforced since last year. CHS successfully got funding from Ontario government to set up a new anti audism project to educate public.

Audism is not dead and is very much alive and is about to walk on a red carpet all the way to the world of a dictionary!!!!! Anti AFA people have failed to prevent that.
